In recent years, We’ve had the pleasure of meeting a lot of young people trying to break into the real estate industry.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The profession is saturated with real estate gurus who have been dishing out nuggets of real estate wisdom over the years. One of the few whose advice we’ve found valuable is Dean Graziosi, a real estate expert, author, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker.<\/span><\/p>\n

We’ve found that these Graziosi quotes are particularly helpful for newbie real estate brokers still trying to find their footing:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn’t matter where you come from. It only matters where you are and where you want to go.\u201d<\/b><\/h3>\n

Here\u2019s the thing: you don\u2019t need to start with a sizable capital or good credit to make it big in real estate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dean Graziosi certainly didn\u2019t. The guy grew up in a trailer park and even lived in a bathroom for an entire year as a teenager. He had no startup capital and nobody to rely on.<\/span><\/p>\n

But with knowledge, hard work, and commitment, he managed to become one of the leading real estate experts in the country today, with hundreds of properties in his portfolio.<\/span><\/p>\n

From childhood, we\u2019re all taught to pinpoint our weaknesses \u2014 Math? sports? music? \u2014 and work on them until we get better at them. We\u2019re often made to feel that this is more important than working on the subjects we\u2019re already good at until we excel at them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead of this common outlook, Graziosi says that you should embrace your strengths and use them to build the career and the life you\u2019ve always wanted. Focus on the things you\u2019re naturally good at and perform those tasks. As for your weaknesses? Don\u2019t waste your time and energy; delegate them to folks who can do a better job.<\/span><\/p>\n

Graziosi is basically saying that there\u2019s no success without hard work and dedication. No matter how good you are at strategizing, visualizing your goals, or achieving a positive mindset, you won\u2019t get any closer to your dreams if you don\u2019t get up and do the work \u2014 every.single.day.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFailing at something doesn’t scare me as much as never trying.\u201d<\/b><\/h3>\n

The path to success is riddled with hills and valleys to navigate. Incredible successes and tremendous setbacks will mark the journey. This is as true for the richest real estate entrepreneurs as it is for newbies. <\/span><\/p>\n

As you start out, do your best but prepare for the worst. Do whatever you can to avoid failure \u2014 research, learn from more experienced real estate brokers, and prepare for the unforeseen. At the same time, expect that you will be tested to your limits and have the resilience to bounce back when you do fail.<\/span><\/p>\n
